We fished last night near B can for those tasty Lake Erie walleye for Sam's grandpa. The trolling bite was on in the beginning and started to taper off as the sun went down on beautiful Lake Erie. We were able to catch our limit even though it was just the two of us in about 3 hours. The walleye we were catching were perfect lake erie eaters, just over 15 inches. There were also a lot of under sized fish we had to throw back, so this looks good for the health of our Lake Erie fishery. We also saw many many minnows in the water the day before so we are hoping this was a sign of a good walleye hatch on Lake Erie this year.
