Yesterday afternoon fished near Crane Creek State Park in 11 - 14 feet of water using blade baits and purple hair jigs tipped with lake shiners and didn't take very long to limit 16 walleyes in a couple hours. We also managed to pick up 2 nice smallmouth, so what that tells me is the spawn is in full swing and the smallmouth bass are already moving in to spawn too! Water temp around 42 - 44 degrees in our western basin of Lake Erie!
